Adviser liability and Liability for provided/given advice

This section discusses Lawfully info. The law firm or its employee’s cannot be legally responsible for advice in the form of free advice provided without a contractual agreement and or an undocumented basis per. tel., email or social media.

To date, no claims have been made against the law firm or any of its employees (not even in former positions) and we strive to uphold that standard. Which is why there is also a risk that we will reject a task, if we assess the assignment to be highly questionable or simply inconsistent with the law firm’s ethics.

In connection with the preparation of a case, lawyer Lars Ole Jensen was sued before the Bar Council by the other party’s lawyer. After examining the case, however, the case was firmly rejected by the Bar Council, as there had been no violation of  The Danish Bar Association’s Ethical Rules.
